Bonjour mon amies!
Just a friendly reminder from some veteran fur-moms: it is summer, and your puppy is going to get dehydrated quick! βοΈπ΄π₯
Even short little walks or errands, make sure to bring water for them, and follow these tips:
β¬οΈβ¬οΈβ¬οΈ
1. Find a bottle or thermos with a cup-lid, and throw it in your purse or car and leave it there. You can always buy a bottle of water, but the bowl or cup for your pup is essential. βΎ
2. You can buy doggie-safe electrolytes to add to their water for faster hydration, especially in older dogs. πΆ
3. Be patient, give them lots of opportunities to drink! Sometimes when out and about, your furbaby is excited and distracted, and would rather play than drink. Be persistent and patient, keep offering, and even remove them to a quiet corner so they can drink without FOMO! π
Now go snuggle your special little guy or gal and have an awesome day!
